    Quite interesting.

Interesting ruins. Mainly foundations of buildings including what was the pit (with no poppet head) that I assume has been capped (it is fenced off). The interpretive signs are good. Could be more of them and a make closer to the car park/toilets. The path could be more defined. You can see at one stage some money was spent on the walking route by Parks Victoria; but like much Parks Victoria infrastructure is then not maintained for the next 20 years. Surely a local historical society could organize a working bee. But despite that still a good place to visit.

Interesting mine, easily accessible to the public. Maldon’s most profitable mine.
