    Horribly disappointing (and very weird) to find a vegetarian cafe that doesn't offer a single vegan option. Of our group visiting Maldon for the day, two are vegan and one doesn't consume dairy for health reasons - but every single item in the cafe was drowned in bucket-loads of greasy cheese. We asked if they had anything vegan at all and just got a curt 'no' for an answer; they weren't even prepared to 'veganize' anything for us. (And yet in their deli section classic vegan items like Bonsoy and jackfruit were on sale!) We had been all ready to spend up big, but needless to say, we took our money elsewhere.
